CutSyncfor DaVinci ResolveYour markers do the dull jobs.
CutSync is a plug-in for DaVinci Resolve that turns the markers on your timeline into the things you'd otherwise type out by hand. Drop markers as you edit, then export YouTube chapters that follow YouTube's rules, show notes, a CSV shot list or subtitles. Send a client a review page with a thumbnail, timecode and note for every marker, which they can tick off and reply to from their phone. And queue several timelines to render in one go, with a render preset you've already saved.

Three tabs, three jobs
Chapters and lists
YouTube chapters, show notes, a CSV shot list and SRT subtitles from your markers. Anything YouTube would reject is listed under Check these.

Client report
One web page with a card per marker: thumbnail, timecode and note. Your client ticks notes off, types replies and copies them back into an email.

DoneBatch render
Pick timelines and a render preset from the Deliver page, and add them all to the render queue. Anything Resolve refuses is listed with the reason.

Use the colour boxes to include only some marker colours: red for client notes and blue for chapters, for example.
What you'll need
- Resolve
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 or later, or the free version of Resolve 18 up to 21.0. From 21.1, Blackmagic only lets Studio run scripts.
- Windows
- 10 or 11, with Python 3 (64-bit) installed for all users. The installer helps you set it up.
- Trial
- Everything works without a licence. Exports and reports carry a trial mark, and batch render takes three timelines at a time.
